About the Department


The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at MMMUT was established in 1984 and has steadily grown to become one of the premier centers for computer science education and research in Uttar Pradesh. The B. Tech in CSE program offered by the department is NBA-accredited under the Washington Accord, affirming its adherence to international standards in engineering education.

In addition to its flagship undergraduate program, the department also offers a postgraduate M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, making it the first government-aided engineering institution in UP to introduce such a program. The department is also actively engaged in doctoral research through its Ph.D. programs.

The department is home to numerous state-of-the-art laboratories, each designed to facilitate advanced teaching, hands-on learning, and cutting-edge research. These labs are supervised by experienced faculty members specializing in diverse domains. Additionally, a departmental library with a specialized collection of over 500 books in Computer Science is available for exclusive use by students and faculty members.

With a commitment to academic excellence, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a focus on emerging technologies, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at MMMUT offers a stimulating environment for learning, innovation, and research.
