ABOUT CONFERENCE

The International Conference on Energy, Environment & Material Sciences (ICE2M-2019) is one of the prestigious conferences. It will be organized by Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), India.



There are multiple tracks in the conference covering almost all areas of Energy, Environment & Material Sciences. Every track has the following main components; a) Paper presentations and best paper awards, b) Poster presentations and best poster awards, c) Key Note Lectures and d) Panel Discussions. Through these components, this conference covers a broad range of participants and audience.

This conference provides an excellent platform to the researchers to present their research work and known as the UP-section's conference. The conference is technically sponsored by IEEE UP Section.

About Gorakhpur:


The name "Gorakhpur" comes from the Sanskrit Gorakshapuram, which means abode of Gorakshanath, a renowned ascetic who was a prominent saint of the Nath Sampradaya. Gorakhpur is a city along the banks of the Rapti river in the north-eastern part of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is near the Nepal border, 273 kilometres east of the state capital Lucknow. It is the administrative headquarters of Gorakhpur district and Gorakhpur division. The city is home to the Gorakhnath Math, a Gorakshanath temple. Mahant Yogi Adityanath, politician who is the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, in office since 19 March 2017 also belongs to Gorakhpur.
  • Gorakhpur Railway Station is located in the city of Gorakhpur in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It has the world's longest railway platform.
  • An air force station in Gorakhpur was established in 1963 and extended for public transport. From the city the airport is 5 miles (8.0 km). It facilitates direct flights for Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

Gorakhnath Temple

Gorakhpur takes its name from Gorakhnath, who was a saint and travelled widely across India and authored a number of texts that form a part of the canon of Nath Sampradaya. The temple performs various cultural and social activities and serves as the cultural hub of the city. Gorakhnath Temple is 4.5 kms away from the Gorakhpur Railway Station. Local transport, auto, ,OLA, Taxi are easily available from railway station

Kushinagar

Kushinagar is a pilgrimage town in the Kushinagar district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site, where Buddhists believe Gautama Buddha attained Parinirvana after his death. The road distance between Gorakhpur to Kushinagar is 51 km

Lumbini, Nepal

Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi District of Province No. 5 in Nepal. It is the place where, according to Buddhist tradition, Queen Mahamayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama in 563 BCE. Gautama, who achieved Enlightenment sometime around 528 BCE, became the Buddha and founded Buddhism. Lumbini is within Driving distance of Gorakhpur (100 Kms - 3.00 hours).
